Trennt Michaud
Trennt Michaud (born August 22, 1996) is a Canadian pair skater. With his skating partner, Lia Pereira, he is the 2022 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist and 2023 Canadian national bronze medalist. With his former skating partner, Evelyn Walsh, he is the 2022 Four Continents bronze medalist and a three-time Canadian national silver medalist. Walsh/Michaud also won the 2017 Canadian national junior title and competed at two World Junior Championships, achieving their highest placement, fifth, in 2017. 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held March 15–19, 2017 in Taipei City, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei). Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Pair champions Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya / Harley Windsor became the first skaters representing Australia to win gold at an ISU Figure Skating Championships. The United States received gold in two disciplines, with Vincent Zhou winning the men's singles title and Rachel Parsons / Michael Parsons taking the ice dancing title. The 2017–18 ISU Junior Grand Prix is the 21st season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It is the junior-level complement to the 2017–18 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six from each discipline met at the 2017–18 Junior Grand Prix Final, held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. Margaret Purdy
Margaret Purdy (born January 18, 1995) is a Canadian former competitive pair skater. With Michael Marinaro, she is the 2013 World Junior silver medalist and 2010 Canadian national junior champion. Personal life Purdy attended the University of Western Ontario from September 2014 to 2018, studying social sciences. Career Purdy started skating at age four as a hockey player and switched to figure skating at age seven. In May 2007, Purdy teamed up with Michael Marinaro to train in pairs. In the 2009–10 season, they debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and won the Canadian junior title. The pair placed eighth in The Hague at their first World Junior Championships.
