Trefl Gdańsk
Trefl Gdańsk, previously known as Lotos Trefl Gdańsk, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Gdańsk in northern Poland. The club was founded in 2005 and promoted to the Polish PlusLiga in 2011. Two–time Polish Cup winner (2015, 2018). The club was promoted to PlusLiga in 2008 after spending just one season in the 1st Polish Volleyball League. Unfortunately, Trefl did not manage to stay in the league for long and has been relegated in the next season, in 2009. They had to wait until 2011 when led by Dariusz Luks the club was once again promoted to PlusLiga, playing there until this day. Damian Schulz (born 26 February 1990) is a Polish professional volleyball player. A former member of the Poland national team, with which he won the 2018 World Championship. At the professional club level, he plays for Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom. Career National team He was called up to the Polish national team in 2015. 2015–16 CEV Champions League
The 2015–16 CEV Champions League was the 57th edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. Participating teams Format League round 28 teams have been drawn to 7 pools of 4 teams each. In each pool, the competition is organised on the basis of a double round-robin system. Each team will thus play 6 matches: twice against each opponent. In the League Round, the placing of the teams is determined by the number of matches won. In case of a tie in the number of matches won by two or more teams, they will be ranked on the basis of the following criteria: *match points; *set quotient (the number of total sets won divided by the number of total sets lost); *points quotient (the number of total points scored divided by the number of total points lost); *results of head-to-head matches between the teams in question. Hala Arena
Hala Arena , generally called simply Arena, is an indoor sporting arena in the Grunwald district of the city of Poznań in western Poland. It is primarily used for volleyball, other indoor sports, and concerts. The venue opened in 1974 and seats approximately 5,500 people, depending on type of event. Ergo Arena
Ergo Arena (Hala Gdańsk-Sopot) is a multi-purpose indoor arena, that was opened in 2010. The boundary between two cities – Sopot and Gdańsk – runs through the very middle of the hall.
