Tomàs-Llorenç Guarino Sabaté
Tomàs-Llorenç Guarino Sabaté (born 5 July 1999) is a Spanish figure skater. He is the 2021 Open d'Andorra champion, the 2021 Egna Spring Trophy bronze medalist, and a four-time Spanish national champion (2021-24). Personal life Guarino Sabaté was born 5 July 1999 in Barcelona. He began studying at International University of La Rioja in January 2021. Career Early years Guarino Sabaté began learning to skate in 2007. As an advanced novice, he competed internationally for Spain and won the national title in that category in December 2014. The following season, he moved up to the junior ranks and represented Spain at two events, in September and November 2015. Career for Switzerland Deciding to represent Switzerland, Guarino Sabaté debuted for his new country in November 2016 at the NRW Trophy in Germany. NRW Trophy
The NRW Trophy (also known as the NRW Summer Trophy or NRW Autumn Trophy) is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of North Rhine-Westphalia and since 2007, it has been sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. It is held every autumn at Westfalenhallen in Dortmund, Germany. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The competition is held in two parts. The Ice Dance Trophy is held for ice dance levels pre-novice to senior in early November. 2023 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2023 World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Saitama, Japan from March 20–26, 2023. The competition will determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2024 World Championships. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements Skaters will be eligible for the 2023 World Championships if they turned 15 years of age before July 1, 2022, and if they met the minimum technical elements score requirements. The ISU accepts scores if they were obtained at senior-level ISU-recognized international competitions during the ongoing season at least 21 days before the first official practice day of the championships or during the preceding season. Number of entries per discipline Based on the results of the 2022 World Championships, each ISU member nation can field one to three entries per discipline. The 2023 FISU Winter World University Games, officially known as the XXX Winter Universiade, and commonly known as Lake Placid 2023, is a collegiate multi-sport winter sports event scheduled to be held from 12 to 22 January 2023 in Lake Placid, New York, United States. 2022 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2022 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Montpellier, France from March 21–27, 2022. Figure skaters competed for the title of world champion in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition was used to determine the entry quotas for each federation at the 2023 World Championships. Montpellier was announced as the host in June 2019. The 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy was held on September 22–25, 2021 in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was part of the 2021–22 ISU Challenger Series.
