Tobias Forge
Tobias Forge (; born 3 March 1981) is a Swedish singer, musician, and songwriter. He is the leader and primary songwriter of the masked rock band Ghost, performing live as their vocalist under the stage names Papa Emeritus and Cardinal Copia. Although the band was formed in 2006, Forge's identity as the Ghost frontman was only confirmed in 2017, following a lawsuit by former band members due to a royalty dispute. Prior to finding success, he was in several other bands, including Repugnant and Crashdïet, under the stage name Mary Goore. For his musical accomplishments, Forge was awarded the 2019 Platinagitarren award from STIM, who explained "With one foot standing firmly on the metal floor, Forge is a composer pushing the boundaries of the genre." Ghost is a Swedish rock band that was formed in Linköping in 2006. In 2010, they released a three-track demo followed by a 7-inch vinyl titled "Elizabeth", and later their debut full-length album ''Opus Eponymous''. The song "Ritual" was chosen by ''Kerrang!'' as one of "The 50 Most Evil Songs Ever." The Grammis-nominated album was widely praised and significantly increased their popularity. Onkel Kånkel and his Kånkelbär ( en, (approx.) ”Uncle Dingle and his Dingleberries”), commonly referred to as just Onkel Kånkel, was a Swedish könsrock/ punk rock band known for lyrics with off-color humor, dealing with subjects such as disabled people, disorders and diseases, Nazism, homosexuality, pedophilia, and coprophilia, often with elements of toilet humor. Many songs reference Swedish TV and radio personalities. Onkel Kånkel is often considered to have created the könsrock genre.
