The Eternal Memory
''The Eternal Memory'' ( es, La memoria infinita) is a 2023 Chilean documentary film directed by Maite Alberdi. The film follows the relationship of Chilean journalist Augusto Góngora and Chilean actress Paulina Urrutia. It was selected in the World Cinema Documentary Competition at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival where it had its world premiere on 21 January 2023 and won the Grand Jury Prize. It received critical acclaim and was named one of the top 5 documentary films of 2023 by the National Board of Review. The film was nominated for Best Documentary Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards, being Alberdi's second nomination in the category as well as the second Chilean documentary film to be nominated for an Academy Award. Maite Alberdi Soto (born 29 March 1983, Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean film producer, director, documentarian, screenwriter, and film critic. Her film ''The Mole Agent'' (2020) was an Academy Awards nominee for Best Documentary and a contender for Best International Feature. The film was also a nominee at the Goya Awards for Best Iberoamerican Film. She is the founder of Micromundo Producciones. Weighted Average
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
