Team Galaxy (TV Series)
''Team Galaxy'' (french: Team Galaxy, le Collège de l'Espace or french: Galaxie Académie, label=none in Quebec) is an animated series co-produced by Marathon Media, Image Entertainment Corporation, France 3, Rai Fiction and Jetix Europe in association with YTV. It blends 2D animation with CG elements, and is set at "Galaxy High" (not to be confused with the school in the 1980s animated series of the same name), where a trio of young students try to balance their regular teenage lives and their training to become Space Marshals. The concept and animation style is similar to that of both ''Totally Spies!'' and ''Martin Mystery'', other series created by Marathon Media. ''Team Galaxy'' is co-produced by a number of international broadcasters, such as France 3 which was the first to begin airing the full series from 28 August 2006. Action film is a film genre in which the protagonist is thrust into a series of events that typically involve violence and physical feats. YTV (TV Channel)
YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers; its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. The channel was launched on September 1, 1988 by owners Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting upon launch. In 1995, Shaw Communications acquired CUC's 34% stake and in 1998, it acquired Rogers' remaining interest of the channel, before Shaw's media division was spun off to form Corus Entertainment in 1999. Galaxy High School
is a science fiction animated series that premiered on September 13, 1986 on CBS and ran for 13 episodes until December 6, 1986. The series was created by Chris Columbus and featured music and a theme song composed by Don Felder. The series was later shown in reruns on Sci-Fi Channel's Cartoon Quest.
