The Taoyuan Refinery () is an oil refinery in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. History The refinery was established in 1976. In 2008, a gasoline pyrolysis and hydro-desulfurization unit was constructed at the refinery with a capacity of 30,000 barrels per day. Guishan District
Guishan District () is a district in northeastern Taoyuan City, Taiwan. History Guishan was formerly known as ''Kulunsia'' ( (Ku-lun-siā))). The name originated from a hill by the Mercy Buddha Temple of Shou Shan Rock, built in 7th year of the Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty. The plains aborigines and Ketagalan tribes were located here. From 1920 to 1945, was under Tōen District, Shinchiku Prefecture. In 1950, it was renamed to ''Kueishan''. On 25 December 2014, it was upgraded from Guishan Township to a district called Guishan District. Taoyuan, Taiwan
Taoyuan () is a special municipality of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in northwestern Taiwan, neighboring New Taipei City to the north-east, Yilan County to the south-east, and Hsinchu County to the south-west. Taoyuan District is the seat of the municipal government and which, along with Zhongli District, forms a large metropolitan area. Taoyuan developed from a satellite city of Taipei metropolitan area to become the fourth-largest metropolitan area, and fifth-largest populated city in Taiwan. CPC Corporation () is a state-owned petroleum, natural gas, and gasoline company in Taiwan and is the core of the Taiwanese petrochemicals industry.
