''Amor en silencio'' (English title: ''Silent Love'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carla Estrada for Televisa in 1988. Its first broadcast was in Mexico in 1988 and then made its debut in Latin America, Europe, Asia and, in a unique situation, it was broadcast in the United States by Telemundo during primetime. Joaquín Cordero
Joaquín Cordero (; August 16, 1922 – February 19, 2013) was a Mexican actor of the cinema, theatre and telenovelas. Biography Shortly after his birth, Cordero's family moved to Mexico City, and in the following years he studied in a seminary and even considered becoming a priest, but eventually he decided to pursue a law career. After three years of law classes, against his family's wishes he decided to become an actor. He initially appeared in small roles but by his early fifties he was getting much larger roles. Eventually he became one of the most popular actors in Mexican cinema. Ignacio López Tarso
Ignacio López López (born 15 January 1925), known professionally as Ignacio López Tarso, is a Mexican actor of stage, film and television. He has acted in about 50 films and appeared in documentaries and in one short feature. In 1973 he was given the Ariel Award for Best Actor for ''Rosa Blanca'', and the Ariel de Oro lifetime achievement award in 2007. He has also been honored multiple times at the TVyNovelas Awards.
