Comedy Hip Hop
Comedy hip hop or comedy rap, is a subgenre of lighter hip hop music designed to be amusing or funny, compared to artists who incorporate humor into their more serious, purist hip hop styles. Satirical hip hop is a variant of comedy hip hop done in a sarcastic, parodic, deadpan or tongue-in-cheek way. Other forms of comedy rap, such as meme rap and ironic rap, both known for their aggressive and dark comedic approach achieved some mainstream success during the 2000s and 2010s. Characteristics Satirical hip hop may be a parody of the whole genre of hip hop and/or a form of critical music that uses hip-hop as a vehicle for satirical messages. Musical influence and scope vary, ranging from gangsta rap, mumble rap, trap rap to alternative hip hop. The more humorous satirical sub-genre meme rap was created with the intent of becoming viral. Shock Humor
Shock humour is a style of comedy intended to shock the audience. This can be achieved through excessively foul toilet humour, overt sexual themes, mocking of serious themes (otherwise known as black comedy), or through tactlessness in the aftermath of a crisis. In radio, shock jocks use this brand of humour. In conservative communities, such risque broadcasting can cause controversy, such as Jim Quinn and Don Jefferson's "Stupid Human Tricks" segment of their late-1980s WBZZ-FM show. Proponents of shock humour include Andrew Dice Clay, Tom Green, and Eric André. The television shows ''The Ren & Stimpy Show'', ''South Park'', ''Family Guy'', ''Superjail!'', ''Jackass'', ''Drawn Together'', ''Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt'', ''Rick and Morty'', ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' and ''Da Ali G Show'' have also been described as shock humour.
