TSV Großbardorf is a German association football club from the city of Großbardorf, Bavaria. The footballers are part of a 602 member sports club that also has departments for bowling and table tennis. History The club made its first appearance in the Landesliga Bayern-Nord (V) in 1993 where they became a competitive side after the turn of the millennium. Following a second-place result and a successful promotion playoff in 2003, Grossbardorf advanced to the Bayernliga (IV) where they played several seasons as a lower table side. They narrowly avoided relegation after a poor 15th-place finish in 2006–07. The country's football competition was restructured in 2008 with the introduction of the new 3. Liga. SpVgg Bayern Hof is a German association football club based in Hof, Bavaria. The club was founded on 1 June 1910 as ''Ballspielclub Hof'', but within a year was renamed ''Britannia Hof''. In 1913, they merged with ''FC Roland Hof'' and ''FC Phoenix Hof'' to become ''FC Bayern Hof''. History ''FC Bayern Hof'' was a decent, but unremarkable, local side through its early decades. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. The Landesliga Bayern sits at step 6 of the German football league system and is the third highest level in the Bavarian football league system, below the Bayernliga and organised in five regional divisions. Bezirksoberligen Bayern
The seven Bezirksoberligas Bayern were the third highest level of the Bavarian football league system, below the Bayernliga and the Landesliga Bayern from 1988 to 2012. They were the seventh tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the sixth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fifth tier.
