2010–11 Bayernliga
The 2010–11 season of the Bayernliga, the highest association football league in Bavaria, was the third season of the league at tier five (V) of the German football league system and the 66th season overall since establishment of the league in 1945. The season started on 25 July 2010 and finished after 34 rounds on 28 May 2011, followed by three more relegation play-off games in early June. The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. From the 2012–13 season onwards, the league has been divided once more into a northern and a southern division, having previously placed in single division format since 1963. The league sits directly under the Regionalliga Bayern and above the Landesligas, which were expanded in number from three to five at the end of the 2011–12 season. Regionalliga Süd (1994–2012)
The Regionalliga Süd ( en, Regional League South) was the fourth tier of the German football league system from 2008 to 2012. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008, it was the third tier. It was the highest regional league for the southern part of Germany. It covered the states of Bavaria, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg and was one of three leagues at this level, together with the Regionalliga Nord and the Regionalliga West. SV Seligenporten
SV Seligenporten is a German association football club from Pyrbaum, Bavaria. It is part of a sportsclub established 23 July 1949 which also has departments for handball, Ju-Jitsu, horseback riding, dancing, singing, and women's recreational sport. History The footballers first rose above amateur level in Middle Franconia when they earned promotion to the Landesliga Bayern-Mitte (V) in 2004. The enjoyed a successful 2006–07 campaign that saw them beat '' FC Augsburg II'' 3–0 on their way to a 1–0 win over ''Würzburger FV'' in the final of the Bavarian Cup. TSV Buchbach
TSV Buchbach is a German association football club from the village of Buchbach, Bavaria. The team is part of a larger sports club that also has departments for curling, gymnastics, skiing, and tennis. The footballers are distinguished as former holders of the German record for the longest undefeated streak, a string of 75 matches from 19 August 1995 to 23 May 1998. History ''TSV'' was founded in 1913 as a gymnastics club. Football was soon introduced to the club by students who brought the game back from Munich. A football department was established within the association on 11 January 1930. The SpVgg Unterhaching II was the reserve team of German football club SpVgg Unterhaching, from the Unterhaching suburb of the city of Munich, Bavaria. At times, the team played under the name of SpVgg Unterhaching Amateure but since 2005, it carries its current name. SC Eltersdorf
The SC Eltersdorf is a German association football club from the Eltersdorf district of Erlangen, Bavaria. An amateur club who has mostly played in the lower leagues of Bavaria, the club achieved its greatest success in 2011–12 when it earned promotion to the Regionalliga. History While football was played in Eltersdorf as early as 1909, in the form of the ''Franken Eltersdorf'', the current club dates back to 1926. With support from another local working maes club, the ATSV Erlangen, ATSV Eltersdorf was formed in 1926. The new club only lasted for a decade before the Nazis outlawed it because of its working-class background. A new club was formed instead, the DTV 1936 Eltersdorf.
