TKid
Julius Cavero, T-KID (or Terrible T-KID 170) is a well-known graffiti artist from the Bronx, New York.[Julius Cavero ''The Nasty Terrible T-Kid 170'' 2005; The Nasty Terrible T-Kid q70] Biography Background and early life T Kid's father was an immigrant from Peru, who worked at a GM factory in New Jersey. His mother emigrated from Puerto Rico in the mid 1950s. Graffiti He started in the 1970s, tagging the name "King 13" every time he'd win a challenge, performing daredevil tricks on swings in local parks. He was a short lived member of a gang called the Bronx Enchanters and The Renegades of Harlem, where he learned how to paint trains. He later became the president of TNB (The Nasty Boyz) and ex-president of TVS (The Vamp Squad), one of the most notorious New York graffiti crews. Style Wars
''Style Wars'' is an American 1983 documentary film on hip hop culture, directed by Tony Silver and produced in collaboration with Henry Chalfant. The film has an emphasis on graffiti, although bboying and rapping are covered to a lesser extent. The film was originally aired on PBS television on January 18, 1984, and was subsequently shown in several film festivals to much acclaim, including the Vancouver Film Festival. ''Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure'' is a video game released in February 2006 for PlayStation 2, Windows, and Xbox. It was developed by The Collective and published by Atari under license by Ecko Unlimited. There were two editions of the game, one being a limited edition and the other being the normal release. The game was later re-published by Devolver Digital in December 2013 on Steam.
