South African Class 6E1, Series 5
The South African Railways Class 6E1, Series 5 of 1974 was an electric locomotive. Between 1974 and 1976, the South African Railways placed one hundred , electric locomotives with a Bo-Bo wheel arrangement in mainline service. Janney couplers are a semi-automatic form of railway coupling that allow rail cars and locomotives to be securely linked together without rail workers having to get between the vehicles. North West (South African Province)
North West is a province of South Africa. Its capital is Mahikeng. The province is located to the west of the major population centre of Gauteng and south of Botswana. History North West was incorporated after the end of Apartheid in 1994, and includes parts of the former Transvaal Province and Cape Province, as well as most of the former bantustan of Bophuthatswana. Northern Cape

Beaufort West (Afrikaans: ''Beaufort-Wes''; Xhosa: ''eBhofolo'') is a town in the Western Cape province in South Africa.
