Sing To Me Instead
''Sing to Me Instead'' is the debut studio album by Ben Platt. It was released on March 29, 2019. Two songs were released from the album on February 1, 2019: "Bad Habit" and "Ease My Mind". It is the actor's first creative project after originating the role of the titular character in the Broadway musical ''Dear Evan Hansen'' aside from appearing on one of Lin-Manuel Miranda's ''Hamildrops'', " Found/Tonight". Platt premiered the first single "Bad Habit" during a live performance and collaboration with Foley Gallery in early 2019. He later performed the song on ''The Late Show with Stephen Colbert'' on February 21, 2019. "Ease My Mind", "Grow as We Go" and "Temporary Love" were released as pre-release downloads on February 13, March 1, and March 8, 2019, respectively. Benjamin Schiff Platt (born September 24, 1993) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. He began his acting career in musical theater as a child and appeared in productions of ''The Sound of Music'' (2006) and ''The Book of Mormon'' (2012–2015), rising to prominence for originating the title role in Broadway coming-of-age musical ''Dear Evan Hansen'' (2015–2017). Foley Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Manhattan, New York City, owned by Michael Foley. Since opening in 2004, Foley Gallery has moved from the Chelsea neighborhood to the Lower East Side in 2014. Oren Yoel is an American record producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Early life Oren Yoel began by producing local hip hop artists and playing keyboards in numerous bands. Audra Mae (born February 20, 1984) is an American singer and songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the great-great-niece of Judy Garland, and a great granddaughter of Garland's sister Jimmie. Stephen Wrabel (born January 7, 1989), known mononymously as Wrabel, is an American singer, songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles. Life and career Wrabel attended high school at The Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. After high school, he studied at the Berklee College of Music for a semester until he left Boston to move to LA and focus on songwriting. Ben Abraham (born 12 May 1985) is an Australian folk singer and songwriter from Melbourne. Ben has collaborated with artists including Kesha, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato and Sara Bareilles.
