Shinee World (concert)
Shinee World (promoted as SHINee THE 1ST CONCERT "SHINee WORLD") was the first independent concert tour by South Korean boy group Shinee. The tour kicked off in Tokyo on December 26, 2010, and ended in Osaka on November 25, 2011, with a total of 10 concerts in seven cities. It attracted audiences of approximately 110,000. The photobook of the concert, ''The 1st Concert "Shinee World"'', was released on December 26, 2011. Shinee also released a DVD, ''The 1st Concert in Japan "Shinee World"'', on January 11, 2012, filmed at their concerts in Tokyo and Nagoya. This was followed by a live album, ''The 1st Concert Album "Shinee World"'', which was recorded in Seoul and released on February 1, 2012. Shinee
Shinee ( ; ko, 샤이니, Syaini; ja, シャイニー, Shainī; stylized as SHINee) is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group's musical impact in their native country has earned them numerous accolades and the title "Princes of K-pop". The group currently is composed of four members: Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Originally a five-piece group, vocalist Jonghyun died in December 2017. Shinee debuted in May 2008 with their first EP, '' Replay'', on SBS' '' Inkigayo'' with their single " Replay". The group gained attention for starting a fashion trend amongst students, which the media dubbed the "Shinee Trend". Zhang Yixing (; born ), known professionally as Lay Zhang or simply Lay (), is a Chinese rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and businessman. Zhang first gained recognition for participating in the Chinese television talent show ''Star Academy'' in 2005. He later debuted as a member of the K-pop boy group Exo and its Chinese sub-unit Exo-M under SM Entertainment in 2012. ''Lucifer'' is the second studio album by South Korean boy band Shinee, released on July 19, 2010, in South Korea. It was re-released as ''Hello'' on October 4, 2010. The album is listed by Gaon Album Chart as the sixth best-selling album of 2010 in South Korea, with over 120,000 copies sold. Background and composition ''Lucifer'' was Shinee's second studio album, coming two years into their career. It marked the first time they were given significant input in the creative direction of an album, from the music to the styling. ''Romeo'' ( ko, 로미오) is the second EP by South Korean boy group Shinee. It was released on May 25, 2009, in South Korea under the seal of the label SM Entertainment. The EP consists of six tracks including the title song "Juliette" and is Shinee's first Korean release after a seven-month hiatus. On August 29, 2011, a Japanese version of "Juliette" was released as Shinee's second Japanese single with the original Japanese song "Kiss Kiss Kiss" as a B-side. The release peaked at number three on the weekly Oricon chart. The album was commercially successful in South Korea—it topped the Hanteo Album Chart for three consecutive weeks. However, there are no known cumulative chart records for albums sold in 2009.
