The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Cazoo World Darts Championship, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), is a World Professional Darts Championship held annually in the sport of darts. The PDC championship begins in December and ends in January and is held at Alexandra Palace in London and has been held there since 2008. The 1999 World Matchplay was a darts tournament held in the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool between 25–31 July 1999. The tournament was won for the second year in a row by Rod Harrington, who defeated Peter Manley Peter David Manley (born 7 March 1962) is an English former professional darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events from July 1996 until 2017.
