Sandhuravirey 2
''Sandhuravirey 2'' is a 2004 Maldivian horror film directed by Amjad Ibrahim and the sequel to his previous horror film ''Sandhuravirey'' (2002). Produced by Ahmed Sharan Hassan under Dash Studio, the film stars Yoosuf Shafeeu and Mariyam Nisha reprising their role as Dhiyash and Yaasha respectively. Shafeeu also played the role of their son, while Niuma Mohamed, Zeenath Abbas and Mohamed Shavin were added to the cast. Premise Dhiyash (Yoosuf Shafeeu) and Yaasha's second daughter, who possess features aligned more to her mother's origin, grows up to be another jinn (Sheereen Abdul Wahid) who schemed to avenge her mother and sister's death on Dhiyash's family. She first murdered Shafqa (Mariyam Nisha), a human lookalike of Yaasha, and kept continuously hassling Dhiyash and Shafqa's son, an established actor, Nail (Yoosuf Shafeeu). Amjad Ibrahim
Amjad Ibrahim Didi (born 11 September 1967), commonly known as Amjad Ibrahim is a Maldivian film director and screenwriter. Early life After completing eleven years of service in Maldives National Defence Force, Ibrahim decided to pursue a career in film direction due to his "fondness" towards film-making process. Umar Zahir (30 May 1971) is a Maldivian singer. Career Born in GA. Dhaandhoo, Adam initiated his career as a musician by joining a local band to take part in some of the occasional stage shows held in his island and atoll. Ahmed Saeed is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career 1997–2010: Debut and early releases On 13 June 1997, Saeed made his screen debut in a video single alongside Hassan Afeef and Mariyam Nisha. Afterwards, he played a role in Yoosuf Rafeeu's ''Dhiriulhumakee Mieebaa?''. He made his official film debut in Fathimath Nahula's debut direction '' Fahuneyvaa'' (1998), starring opposite Hussain Sobah, Jamsheedha Ahmed and Mariyam Nisha which portrays the love-conflict of a man between a prominent stage performer and a deaf-mute poor girl. Fauziyya Hassan
Fauziyya Hassan (8 January 1942 – 31 August 2022) was a Maldivian film actress. She made her film debut in ''Sidha'' in 1985. In 1994 she was arrested by the Indian police on espionage charges relating to the Indian Space Research Organisation. She and a friend were accused of passing sensitive defence information to Pakistan. The espionage case against Hassan was not proven and eventually other charges were dropped, though she spent three years in prison under the National Security Act. After her release Hassan appeared in a number of television dramas and films, including a run of horror films in the early 2000s. She afterwards appeared in a number of romantic dramas including '' Vaaloabi Engeynama'', for which she was nominated for best supporting actress at the 2008 Gaumee Film Awards.
