Suresh Gore
Suresh Gore (1965 – 10 October 2020) was a Shiv Sena politician from Pune district, Maharashtra. He was a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represented the Khed Alandi Assembly Constituency. Life Gore was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for Shiv Sena in 2014. He represented the Khed Alandi Assembly Constituency. His term ended in 2019. Gore was diagnosed with COVID-19 in September 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic in India. After receiving initial treatment in Chakan, Pune, he was moved to the Ruby Hospital in Pune. He died there from the disease on 10 October 2020, aged 55. Maharashtra Legislative Assembly
The Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha or the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the legislature of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated in the Nariman Point area of South Mumbai in the capital Mumbai. Presently, 288 members of the Legislative Assembly are directly elected from the single-seat constituencies. The members of the upper house, the Maharashtra Vidhan Parishad (the legislative council) are indirectly elected through an electoral college. Shiv Sena
Shiv Sena ( IAST: ''Śiva Sēnā'') () was a right-wing to far-right Marathi regionalist and Hindu ultranationalist political party in India founded in 1966 by cartoonist Bal Thackeray. Originally emerging from nativist movements in Bombay (present-day Mumbai), the party agitated for preferential treatment for the Marathi people over migrants from other parts of India. Its election symbol for Maharashtra was the ''Bow and Arrow''. Although the party's primary base always remained in Maharashtra, it tried to expand to a pan-Indian base.
