Suchart Chaivichit
Suchart Chaivichit ( th, สุชาติ ชัยวิชิต; born 8 July 1956) is a makruk and chess player from Thailand. He is a five-time makruk champion of Thailand (1983, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991). In chess he is a FIDE Master and three-time Chess Olympiad individual medalist ( 1982, 1988, 1996). Biography Suchart Chaivichit has been a leading makruk player in Thailand. He won the national makruk championship five times, and also won a national makruk festival in 2004. Suchart Chaivichit also plays western chess. The 26th Chess Olympiad ( el, Η 26η Σκακιστική Ολυμπιάδα, ''I 26i Skakistikí Olympiáda''), organized by FIDE and comprising an openAlthough commonly referred to as the ''men's division'', this section is open to both male and female players. and a women's tournament, as well as several other events designed to promote the game of chess, took place between November 18 and December 5, 1984, in Thessaloniki, Greece. Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands is a hill station located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali in the Titiwangsa Mountains, central Peninsular Malaysia, at 1,800 metres elevation. Located in the state of Pahang. It was established in 1965 by the late Chinese businessman Lim Goh Tong. The primary tourist attraction is Resorts World Genting, a hill resort where casinos and theme parks are situated and gambling is allowed. History The idea to build a hill resort near the capital city of Kuala Lumpur came from a late Malaysian Chinese businessman, Lim Goh Tong who was inspired by the fresh air in Cameron Highlands during his business trip there in 1963 for a hydroelectric power project. The Asian Team Chess Championship (recently also called the Asian Nations Chess Cup) is an international team chess tournament open to national federations affiliated to FIDE in Asia and Oceania. It is organized by the Asian Chess Federation, and the winner qualifies to participate at the next World Team Chess Championship.
