Subhash Barala (born 5 December 1967) is the leader of Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana. He is the former president of state unit of the party from (2014-2020) and former member of Haryana Legislative Assembly from Tohana in Fatehabad district. He lost the Tohana Assembly seat to Jananayak Janata Party candidate, Devender Singh Babli in the Haryana Legislative Assembly 2019 Elections. Devender Singh Babli defeated Subhash Barala by a margin of 52,302 votes which was the second worst defeat faced by any candidate in the state. Fatehabad District
Fatehabad District is one of the twenty two districts of the state of Haryana, India. Fatehabad was founded by Firuz Shah Tughlaq. Fatehabad district was carved out of Hisar district on 15 July 1997. It borders districts of Mansa and Sangrur in state of Punjab in north, Sirsa district in west, Jind district in east, Hisar district and district of Hanumangarh in state of Rajasthan in south. Tohana
Tohana is a town and a municipal council, just 60 km from Fatehabad City in Fatehabad district in the Indian state of Haryana. Its name comes from the Sanskrit 'Taushayana'. The Haryana Legislative Assembly or the Haryana Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral state legislature of Haryana state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Chandigarh, the capital of the state. Devender Singh Babli is an Indian politician belonging to Jananayak Janata Party. He was chosen as a Cabinet Minister in the Haryana Government on 28 December 2021. He was elected as a member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Tohana on 24 October 2019. Devender Singh Babli secured 1,00,621 votes and defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and state party chief Subhash Barala by 52,302 votes.
