Devender Singh Babli
Devender Singh Babli is an Indian politician belonging to Jananayak Janata Party. He was chosen as a Cabinet Minister in the Haryana Government on 28 December 2021. He was elected as a member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Tohana on 24 October 2019. Devender Singh Babli secured 1,00,621 votes and defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and state party chief Subhash Barala by 52,302 votes. The winning margin was the second highest scored by any candidate in the state. On 28 December 2021, Devender Singh Babli was sworn in as a Cabinet Minister in Haryana. As a Minister of State (Independent Charge), Babli holds two portfolios. The Haryana Legislative Assembly or the Haryana Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral state legislature of Haryana state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Chandigarh, the capital of the state. Subhash Barala (born 5 December 1967) is the leader of Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana. He is the former president of state unit of the party from (2014-2020) and former member of Haryana Legislative Assembly from Tohana in Fatehabad district. The Jannayak Janta Party, abbreviated as, JJP is an Indian state-level political party in Haryana, India. JJP is a recognized state political party. JJP was founded on 9 December 2018 by Dushyant Chautala with the ideology of Devi Lal, who served as Deputy Prime Minister of India. Based on the ideology of Jat solidarity and socialism, JJP is very strong and popular in some parts of Haryana. Tohana is a town and a municipal council, just 60 km from Fatehabad City in Fatehabad district in the Indian state of Haryana. Its name comes from the Sanskrit 'Taushayana'.
