Stylianos Schicho
Stylianos Schicho (born 1977 in Vienna) is an Austrian painter. Life Schicho studied between 1998 and 2005 under Wolfgang Herzig at the University for Applied Arts. Harwig Knack, curator of the Kunsthalle Krems, wrote about his paintings: ''Perception, surveillance, observation and observation of oneself plays a key role in the work of Stylianos Schicho. He is concerned with exploring "observation and surveillance spaces", especially those created by cameras. The graduate of the University of Applied Arts uses the classical perspective of the surveillance camera as a stylistic device in his monumental paintings. He poses the question as to the relationship between observer and observed. He also throws a critical glance at the discussion in the wake of 9/11, which has increasingly become the focus of public attention.'' Wolfgang is a German male given name traditionally popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The name is a combination of the Old High German words '' wolf'', meaning "wolf", and '' gang'', meaning "path", "journey", "travel". Walter Koschatzky
Walter Koschatzky (b. 17 August 1921 in Graz, Styria, d. 9 May 2003 in Vienna) was an Austrian art historian, curator and art history author. Personal life Koschatzky attended the Realgymnasiums Bundeserziehungsanstalt Liebenau, in Graz, until 1936 when he moved to the Military Middle School, also in Liebenau. Between 1940 and 1945 he served in the German armed forces. In 1945 he commenced studies in art history, archeology, history and philosophy at the University of Graz and graduated in 1952. He had financed his studies with a jazz ensemble, working for the British military broadcasters (''britischen Besatzungsmacht betriebene Sendergruppe Alpenland'') and the Styrian Provincial Theatre. Koschatzky married Trude Caroline Bauer in March 1948; she died in July 1994. On 15 July 1996, he married Gabriela Elias, an Austrian author, museum curator and cultural journalist. Christian Eisenberger (born 1978 in Semriach near Graz) is an Austrian artist. Life After attending the Ortwein school in Graz in 1999, Christian Eisenberger studieTransmediale Kunstin the class of Brigitte Kowanz at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 2000 to 2004. In 2013 he participated in the artist in residence programme of one world foundation (in cooperation with Galerie Krinzinger) in Sri Lanka.
