Stu Townsend
Stu Townsend (born 11 October 1995) is a scrum-half playing professional rugby union for Exeter Chiefs in Premiership Rugby. Early life Born in Torbay, Townsend was first introduced to rugby as a six-year-old at his local club Kingsbridge. He was educated at the local Primary and Community College before attending Ivybridge Community College, where he joined the Exeter Chiefs Academy system. Early career Townsend featured for England at various age levels, including that of the Under-20s, and also in the National Leagues with both Taunton Titans and the Cornish Pirates. Torbay
Torbay is a borough and unitary authority in Devon, south west England. Wasps RFC
Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. Bath Rugby is a professional rugby union club in Bath, Somerset, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. The Anglo-Welsh Cup (), was a cross-border rugby union knock-out cup competition that featured the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions. It was a created as a replacement for the RFU Knockout Cup, which featured only English clubs. The competition was replaced by the Premiership Rugby Cup, involving only the 12 English Premiership clubs, beginning with the 2018–19 season. Newcastle Falcons is a rugby union team that play in Premiership Rugby, England's highest division of rugby union. The club was established in 1877 as the Gosforth Football Club. Around 1882 the club merged with the Northumberland Football Club and briefly assumed their name until 1887. In 1990, the name was changed to Newcastle Gosforth and the club began to play at Kingston Park stadium in Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. The 2016–17 Aviva Premiership was the 30th season of the top flight English domestic rugby union competition and the seventh one to be sponsored by Aviva. The reigning champions entering the season were Saracens, who had claimed their third title after defeating Exeter Chiefs in the 2016 final. Bristol Bears had been promoted as champions from the 2015–16 RFU Championship after a seven year absence. The competition was broadcast by BT Sport for the fourth successive season. Highlights of each weekend's games were shown for the final time on ITV with extended highlights on BT Sport. Will Chudley
William John Chudley (born 17 March 1988) is a rugby union player who plays at Scrum half for Coventry in the RFU Championship. He made his debut for Exeter against Sale Sharks on 1 September 2012. Will joined Exeter from rivals Newcastle Falcons, Chudley joined Newcastle from Bedford Blues after catching the eye of Newcastle coach Alan Tait during Bedfords play-off semi-final defeat by Worcester in 2011. He was in the team when Exeter Chiefs defeated Wasps to be crowned champions of the 2016-17 English Premiership. In December 2017, he was awarded Try of the week for his week 11 try against Northampton Saints. Dave Lewis (born 29 April 1989 in Manchester) is an English rugby union footballer, currently playing in the Gallagher Premiership for Harlequins. He plays as a scrum half. Personal life He was educated at St Michael's Tawstock, Blundell's School, Ivybridge Community College and finally at Hartpury College. Lewis grew up in Barnstaple and played for Barnstaple at youth level. Club career Lewis was a product of the academy system at Exeter Chiefs when they were playing in the RFU Championship, Lewis joined Gloucester in 2007. Lewis' first appearance for Gloucester was in the 07/08 season at home to Worcester when he came on for 7 minutes. His breakthrough season was the 08/09 season.
