Stryken Station ( no, Stryken stasjon) is located on the Gjøvik Line at Stryken, Lunner, Norway. The station was opened on 1 November 1917, after Vy Gjøvikbanen stated operating of the line on 11 June 2006, but the station has a very limited service, with only selected trains stopping on Saturdays and Sundays during the winter to provide access to the Association for the Promotion of Skiing's extensive ski trail network in Nordmarka. Lunner
Lunner is a municipality in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Hadeland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Roa. Lunner was established when it was separated from the municipality of Jevnaker on 1 January 1898. From 1 January 2020 the municipality belongs to Viken county, it was Oppland before that. Hakadal/Varingskollen Station ( no, Hakadal stasjon) is located on the Gjøvik Line at Hakadal in Norway. The station was opened as Hakedal in 1900 as a stop for passengers and freight, two years ahead of the opening of the Gjøvik Line in 1902. Nittedal Station
Nittedal Station ( no, Nittedal stasjon) is a railway station on the Gjøvik Line at Rotnes in Akershus county, Norway. The station was opened in 1900 as a stop for passengers and freight two years ahead of the opening of the Gjøvik Line in 1902. In 1907 Nittedal was upgraded from a stop to a station staffed to expedite trains, passengers and freight. In the years in between a station building was also erected that had been drawn by architect Paul Armin Due. In 1971, after almost 70 years of being in service, the station became fully automated and remotely controlled. Today the station is unstaffed and furnished with ticket machines. Its elevation is 235.8 m AMSL and the distance to Oslo Central Station is 24.26 km. The main building now serves as a café. The station is reportedly haunted, and it was featured on the Norwegian television show "Åndenes Makt", a show about paranormal activities. Nordmarka
Nordmarka is the mostly forested region which makes up the northern part of Oslo, Norway. Nordmarka is the largest and most central part of Oslomarka. The area called Nordmarka also extends into the municipalities of Hole, Ringerike, Lunner, Jevnaker and Nittedal. It is the largest part of the Marka borough. The forests are popular sites for hiking, biking and skiing. Winter sport is mostly possible from December until March, in cold winters also until April or the beginning of May in some areas.
