Stealing Raden Saleh
''Stealing Raden Saleh'' ( id, Mencuri Raden Saleh) is a 2022 heist action film directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko and written by Sasongko and Husein M. Atmodjo. The film features an ensemble cast, consists of: Iqbaal Ramadhan, Angga Yunanda, Rachel Amanda, Umay Shahab, Aghniny Haque and Ari Irham. The film follows a group who plans a heist of '' The Arrest of Pangeran Diponegoro'' painting by Indonesian artist Raden Saleh. Cast Production Idea The idea of ''Stealing Raden Saleh'' was conceived by Sasongko after his interest in paintings and the work of Indonesian painter Raden Saleh. The film was first announced during the Visinema Pictures' virtual press conference on 18 November 2020, along with then-upcoming projects. Angga Dwimas Sasongko
Angga Dwimas Sasongko (born 11 January 1985 in Jakarta) is an Indonesian film director. He studied at University of Indonesia with a major in political science. His career began when he was 19 years old. In 2008, he founded Visinema Pictures, an award-winning Film Production Company based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He had created dozens of TV commercial videos, hundreds of Music Videos, one feature documentary and five feature films. His second film, Hari Untuk Amanda (2010) was nominated in Citra Award 2010 for 8 categories including Best Director, Best Actor (Oka Antara), Best Actress (Fanny Fabriana) and Best Picture. 2022 Jakarta Film Week
The 2022 Jakarta Film Week, the second edition of the film festival Jakarta Film Week, was held on 13 to 16 October 2022. The festival opened with Fajar Nugros' ''The Ballads of Roy'', and closed with Sorayos Prapapan's film ''Arnold Is a Model Student''. It was held in-person around Central Jakarta at the CGV Grand Indonesia, Ashley Hotel, also a new venue: Kineforum Ismail Marzuki Park, as well as virtual through streaming service Vidio. A total of 88 films from 28 countries were screened during the festival. The edition presented new award categories: Global Animation Award to the best international animation short film, and Series of the Year to the best Indonesian series produced by over-the-top media service.
