Nick Terranova (born December 21, 1977 in Los Angeles, California), better known by his stage name Starkillers, is an American DJ and record producer. Biography Terranova began his career in the early 2000s and was nominated to the IDMA Awards 2012 in the category "Best Progressive Track", which he won with the single "Pressure" (with Nadia Ali and Alex Kenji). The music video has nearly 7 million views. He is the founder of label Terratraxx, which was created in 2002. Other successful titles were highly ranked in the national charts, such as "Discoteka" which reached the 54th place in the Dutch charts in 2006. He has performed throughout the United States, as well as, in Australia, Canada and in China. "Pressure" is a song by Nadia Ali, Starkillers and Alex Kenji. It was released on February 15, 2011 by Spinnin' Records. The song reached No. 16 on the Ultratip Chart in Wallonia, Belgium. Background "Pressure" is Nadia Ali's sixth single as a lead artist. It was written by Ali and produced by American DJ Nick Terranova and Italian DJ Alessandro Bacci. Ali and Terranova met in 2009 when Ali requested him to remix her single " Love Story". After that, the two decided to collaborate on original productions and had studio sessions on Christmas Eve '2009 and produced a number of songs, of which one was "Pressure". Ali described "Pressure" as 'a fun song venting about the frustrations and expectations which come with being successful'. Nadia Ali ( ur, نادیہ علی, ar, نادية علي; born August 3, 1980) is an American singer-songwriter based in New York City. Ali gained prominence in 2001 as the frontwoman and songwriter of the band iiO after their debut single "Rapture" reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also charted across several countries in Europe. Their 2006 single, " Is It Love?", reached the top of the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play Chart. After embarking on a solo career in 2005, Ali became a vocalist in electronic dance music. She released her debut album ''Embers'' in 2009. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
