Specktors
Specktors is a Danish hip hop group formed in 2008 by Sluzh, Jonas For Fa'en, Wanr and Anders "Drysset" Drøidal. When Drøidal left the band, he wasn't replaced and Specktors became a trio. The band usually combines hip hop with electronic influences. The band is signed to EMI Denmark. Specktors started working in the Copenhagen underground / club scene and in April 2008 launched a tour all over Denmark. They had their break when their song "Hellerup Ansigt // Amar Røv" was played by DJ Kjeld Tolstrup on Denmark's P3 radio program ''Unga Bunga''. Soon after they landed a deal in 2009 with Music For Dreams label, where they released their debut album ''Shanksville'' on 9 September 2009 (090909). The album included collaborations with MagerMayn, Pato Siebenhaar, MC Ena (from Fagget Fairys) and Jokeren. In summers of 2011 and 2012, they performed at the Roskilde Festival. TopGunn
Oliver Gammelgaard Nielsen better known by his stage name TopGunn (born 3 April 1991) is a Danish rapper and music producer from Nørrebro, Copenhagen, born in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. He has also established his own label CHEFF Records. Career Influenced by Danish dancehall scene, he published his first EP, ''Dansehallens Erobrer'' in 2010. Best known from the EP was the track "Averbaver" og "Gunmænd med pistoler". Through his residency in Ragnhildgade, he collaborated with Klumben in launching the latter's initial hit "Kriminel" which became an instant hit. Musical career Kato started DJing at nightclubs in 2005 remixing for other artists and independently since 2008, at which time he also started writing and producing his own music. His breakthrough came with the commercial success of the single "Turn the Lights Off", released on 1 January 2010, receiving platinum status for selling 30,000 copies in early August 2010. Kjeld Tolstrup
Kjeld Tolstrup (27 June 1965 – 21 March 2011) was a Danish radio DJ. Career Kjeld Tolstrup became one of the biggest names in Danish DJ circles in the 1980s performing at The Hacienda in Manchester, Ministry of Sound in London, ''Sensation'' event in Copenhagen, and a big number of clubs. Kjeld Tolstrup also remixed for many artists including C.V. Jørgensen, Love Shop Love Shop is a Danish pop rock band. The band was formed in 1986 by vocalist/songwriter Jens Unmack and guitarist/producer Hilmer Hassig, later joined by harmonicist Henrik Hall. DR P3 (referred to in Denmark simply as P3) is a Danish current-based hit music radio station operated by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. It is broadcast on FM radio, DAB, and Internet radio. It commenced broadcasting on 1 January 1963 as ''Musikradioen'' in response to the popularity of the offshore pirate radio station Radio Mercur, which had been outlawed by the Danish parliament in June 1962. Jesper Dahl (born June 13, 1973), better known by the stage name Jokeren (''The Joker''), is a Danish hip-hop artist and rapper. Dahl was born in Hillerød. Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation provided festival participants with the opportunity to nominate and vote upon which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival.
