Solveig Pedersen
Solveig Pedersen (born September 6, 1965) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier who competed in the 1980s and 1990s. She won a 4 × 5 km relay silver medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville and finished eighth in the 5 km event at those same games. Pedersen also won a bronze in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1991 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and finished fourth in the 15 km event at those same games. Her best individual event was third in a 15 km event in Germany in 1991. On club level she represented Oddersjaa SSK in Kristiansand Kristiansand is a seaside resort city and municipality in Agder county, Norway. Lugnet, Falun
Lugnet is a large sport complex located in Falun, Sweden. 58 of the Swedish Sports Confederation's 67 special sports can be practiced there. There are six full sized indoor pitches in the area where everything from dance to association football can be played or performed. There are also two swimming pools (one indoors and one outdoors), a tennis hall, an athletics arena, an ice arena including one indoor ice hockey rink, an outdoor ice hockey rink, a bandy field and a curling hall. Lugnet is also Sweden's national cross-country skiing and ski jumping centre (the Lugnet Hills ski jump) and often hosts one part of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup. Anne Jahren
Anne Jahren (born 20 June 1963) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who competed from 1982 to 1990. She won a complete set of medals at the Winter Olympics with a gold in the 4 × 5 km relay (1984), a silver in the 4 × 5 km relay (1988), and a bronze in the 20 km (1984). Jahren also won four medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, including one gold (10 km: 1987), two silvers (4 × 5 km relay: 1985, 1987), and one bronze (4 × 5 km relay: 1989). She also finished 13th in the women's Adelskalender in the Norwegian skiing Championships. Representing Bærums Skiklub, Jahren also won two World Cup events in her career (1986, 1987). Brit Pettersen Tofte (born 24 November 1961) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who competed during the 1980s. Pettersen earned one gold and two bronzes at two Winter Olympic Games. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, she won one gold (4 × 5 km relay - 1982), one silver (20 km - 1985), and two bronzes (5 km - 1982, 10 km - 1987). She also won the 20 km competition at the Holmenkollen ski festival twice (1983 and 1987). Berit Kristine Aunli, née Kvello, (born 9 June 1956) is a Norwegian former cross-country skier. She won her first international championship medal as a member of the Norwegian team that won the bronze medal at the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1980 Winter Olympics. Her real international breakthrough came at the 1982 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships when she won gold medals at the 5 km, 10 km and 4 × 5 km relay races, and a silver medal at the 20 km classical. She became the first winner of an official Cross-Country World Cup after her overall victory in the 1981–82 FIS Cross-Country World Cup. Klingenthal is a town in the Vogtland region, in Saxony, south-eastern Germany. It is situated directly on the border with the Czech Republic opposite the Czech town of Kraslice, 29 km southeast of Plauen, and 33 km northwest of Karlovy Vary. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1991 took place between 7 and 17 February 1991 in Val di Fiemme, Italy. The women's 5 km was reintroduced after not being held in the previous championships. The men's 10 km was introduced in this championships. Additionally, this was the first championship with a unified German team for the first time officially since 1939 following separate East German and West German teams that had competed from 1958 to 1989.
