Smashhdown!
''Smashhdown!'' is an Australian children's sports game show on 9Go!. The show features sports challenges and trivia to find "Australia's number one junior sports all-rounder". Production Series 1 of the series began airing on 17 December 2018, presented by school teacher Andy Sunderland with commentators played by Michael Balk (Glen Goosebump) and Briana Goodchild (Glenda Goosebump). There are six tournaments in Series 1, featuring 25 shows per tournament. The show also features guest appearance from athletes such as netballer players Gretel Tippett (Diamonds) and Mahalia Cassidy (Firebirds), Australian Rules footballer Alex Witherden (Brisbane Lions), soccer player Daniel Leck (Brisbane Roar) and New Zealand international rugby league player Alex Glenn. Michael Balk
Michael Balk is an Australian actor, television presenter, radio announcer and producer. Personal life Michael grew up in the Clarence Valley in Northern Rivers New South Wales. He attended primary and secondary school in Grafton before moving to Brisbane to study Arts/Law at Queensland University of Technology. Balk is the nephew of acclaimed filmmaker Philip Hearnshaw, and grandson of Australian Liberal Politician Eric Hearnshaw. Career Balk is best known for his original television roles, notably scrapboy in dirtgirlworld & Get Grubby TV, Glen Goosebump in Smashhdown!, SMASHHDOWN!, and various characters on BrainBuzz. Standard-definition television (SDTV, SD, often shortened to standard definition) is a television system which uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. "Standard" refers to it being the prevailing specification for broadcast (and later, cable) television in the mid- to late-20th century, and compatible with legacy analog broadcast systems. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015.
