Slađana Radisavljević
Slađana Radisavljević ( sr-Cyrl, Слађана Радисављевић; born 1968) is a Serbian politician. She has served in the National Assembly of Serbia since February 2024 as a member of the New Democratic Party of Serbia (NDSS). Private career Radisavljević is a mathematics teacher living in Kragujevac. Politician City delegate (2012) Radisavljević entered political life as a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS). She was first elected to the Kragujevac city assembly in the 2012 Serbian local elections, in which the DSS won five seats. The DSS originally supported Veroljub Stevanović's administration in the city after the election. On 8 June 2012, Radisavljević was appointed to the city's planning and construction committee. She resigned her seat on 7 December 2012. 2014 to 2023 Radisavljević appeared in the ninety-ninth position on the DSS's electoral list in the 2014 Serbian parliamentary election. The assembly is composed of 250 deputies who are proportionally elected to four-year terms by secret ballot. The assembly elects a president (speaker) who presides over the sessions. National Democratic Alternative (Serbia)
The National Democratic Alternative (, NADA) is a national-conservative political coalition in Serbia, led by the New Democratic Party of Serbia (NDSS) and Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS). Serbia Against Violence (coalition)
Serbia Against Violence ( sr-Cyrl, Србија против насиља, Srbija protiv nasilja, abbr. SPN) is an opposition coalition of political parties in Serbia. Formalised in October 2023, SPN took part in the parliamentary, Vojvodina provincial, Belgrade City Assembly elections and elections for city assemblies in other cities, all of which were held on 17 December 2023. The SPN was formed out of the Serbia Against Violence protests that began after the Belgrade elementary school and Mladenovac and Smederevo mass shootings in May 2023. 2023 Serbian Local Elections
Local elections in 65 cities and municipalities in Serbia were held on 17 December 2023. Initially scheduled to be held in 2024, Aleksandar Vučić, the president of Serbia, announced, first in September and again in October 2023, that local elections could be held in December 2023, concurrently with the provincial and parliamentary elections. Following his announcement in September 2023, mayors and presidents of municipalities, including the capital Belgrade, resigned for the local elections to take place on 17 December. Serbian Progressive Party
The Serbian Progressive Party ( sr-cyrl, Српска напредна странка, Srpska napredna stranka, SNS) has been the ruling political party of Serbia since 2012. Founded by Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vučić in 2008 as a split from the far-right Serbian Radical Party (SRS), the SNS served in opposition to the Democratic Party (DS) for the next several years. Running on an anti-corruption platform, it managed a strong performance in the 2009 Belgrade local elections, and in the same year, became the strongest opposition party.
