National Democratic Alternative (Serbia)
The National Democratic Alternative (, NADA) is a national-conservative political coalition in Serbia, led by the New Democratic Party of Serbia (NDSS) and Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS). History It was initially formed as a joint political platform between the two parties in January 2021, although in May, it was expanded into a political coalition. It is now made up of more than 20 citizens' associations. Matija Bećković and Ljubinko Đurković expressed their support to the coalition. Its presidential candidate for the 2022 election was Miloš Jovanović, while its ballot carrier for the parliamentary election was retired general Božidar Delić. Miloš Jovanović (, ; born 19 August 1976) is a Serbs, Serbian politician, lawyer, and a political scientist. He is the president of the New Democratic Party of Serbia, and a docent at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. Together for Šumadija ( sr, Заједно за Шумадијy / Zajedno za Šumadiju) is a minor liberal-conservative political party in Serbia. Founded on May 2, 2009 by the ''Together for Kragujevac'' movement and by a series of citizen advocacy groups and political parties in Šumadija (Central Serbia). The Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia ( sr, link=, Покрет обнове Краљевине Србије, Pokret obnove Kraljevine Srbije; abbr. ПОКС or POKS) is a monarchist and national-conservative political party in Serbia. It was founded in 2017 after a split within the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO). In December 2021, the POKS split into two rival groups, respectively led by party founder Žika Gojković and former Belgrade mayor Vojislav Mihailović. Each group claimed to be the legitimate representative of the party. 2022 Belgrade City Assembly Election
Local elections were held in Belgrade on 3 April 2022 to elect members of the City Assembly. Alongside the election, national-level general elections and local elections in 12 other towns and municipalities were held on the same day. The New Democratic Party of Serbia ( sr, Нова демократска странка Србије, Nova demokratska stranka Srbije, , NDSS or New DSS) is a national-conservative political party in Serbia. Initially known and formed as Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), the party was formed as a conservative split from the Democratic Party (DS), and has played a key role in the opposition during the 1990s. It was a part of the "Together" coalition and was later a founding member of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia (DOS). Its first leader, Vojislav Koštunica, was elected president of Yugoslavia in 2000, a role which he served until 2003. Bunjevci ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=" / ", Bunjevci, Буњевци, ; sh-Latn-Cyrl, label=, separator=" / ", Bunjevac, Буњевац, sh-Latn-Cyrl, label=, separator=" / ", Bunjevka, Буњевка) are a South Slavic sub-ethnic group living mostly in the Bačka region of northern Serbia and southern Hungary ( Bács-Kiskun County), particularly in Baja and surroundings, in Croatia (e.g. Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Lika-Senj County, Slavonia, Split-Dalmatia County, Vukovar-Srijem County), and in Bosnia-Herzegovina. They presumably originate from western Herzegovina. As a result of the Ottoman conquest, some of them migrated to Dalmatia, from there to Lika and the Croatian Littoral, and in the 17th century to the Bácska region of Hungary.
