Sithu Aung
Sithu Aung ( my, စည်သူအောင်; also spelled Si Thu Aung; born 16 November 1996) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as left winger for Myanmar national football team and Samut Prakan City. He has played much of his career as a left back. Aged 13, Sithu Aung joined the youth team of Yangon United, for whom he made his professional debut in 2012 at the age of 16. He got MNL champion 6 times and played AFC Cup 3 time in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He spent three season at Yangon United club, before moving to Yadanarbon FC for undisclosed fee in the 2014 MNL transfer window and making him the third Yangon United player to join the club in 18 months. Myanmar National Football Team
The Myanmar national football team ( my, မြန်မာ့လက်ရွေးစင်အမျိုးသားအသင်း) represents Myanmar in men's international association football and are governed by the Myanmar Football Federation. They were known as the Burma national football team until 1989, when Burma was renamed Myanmar. During their heyday, Burma finished second in the 1968 Asian Cup, participated in the Summer Olympics in 1972 and in the Asian Games and having won the Asian Games twice; in 1966 and 1970, and the football event of the Southeast Asian Games on five successive occasions; in 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971 and 1973. The 2014 PFF Peace Cup was the third edition of the tournament, an international football competition organized by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) to celebrate peace month in the country through football. It was held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila and was originally scheduled to take place from September 3–9, 2014. It was then revised to September 3–6 due to a change in format. Participants PFF president Mariano Araneta stated that the teams being initially eyed are Chinese Taipei, Myanmar, Palestine and Vietnam. The PFF were due to announce the final list of invited teams on August 6, a day after the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup draw in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Philippine Peace Cup was a four-nation international football competition organized by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) which involves the national teams of the Philippines and three invitees. The inaugural edition took place in 2012, replacing the annual Long Teng Cup which the Philippines has been participants since its inception. Mandalay
Mandalay ( or ; ) is the second-largest city in Myanmar, after Yangon.
