Simon Yam
Simon Yam Tat-wah (; born 19 March 1955) is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. He received international acclaim for his performances in international film festival and box office hits such as ''Naked Killer'', '' SPL: Sha Po Lang'', ''Election'', ''Election 2'' , ''Exiled'', '' Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life'' and ''The Thieves''. Career Yam started off as a model before becoming an actor in the mid 1970s. He then signed with the Hong Kong television network TVB, starring and co-starring in a number of television series prior to "apply his trades" in the film industry in 1987. His elder brother is Yam Tak-wing, a retired former Deputy Commissioner of Hong Kong Police. In 1989, he starred in the Japanese-Hong Kong co-production of ''Bloodfight''. Chow Yun-fat (born 18 May 1955), previously known as Donald Chow, is a Hong Kong actor. ''Osmanthus Alley'' () is a 1987 Taiwanese drama film directed by Chen Kunhou. The film was selected as the Taiwanese entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 60th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. Tiger Cage (film)
''Tiger Cage'' is a 1988 Hong Kong action film directed by Yuen Woo-ping and starring Simon Yam, Carol Cheng, Jacky Cheung, Irene Wan and Donnie Yen. Zhongshan
Zhongshan (; ) is a prefecture-level city in the south of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong province, China. The film is split into three segments, each based on a short story by Lilian Lee. The first part, titled ''Stolen Goods'' (贓物), starred Simon Yam as a jobless man who steals funerary urns and forces the dead's relatives to pay him to get back the urns. The second part, titled ''A Word in the Palm'' (放手), starred Tony Leung Ka-fai as a fortune-teller who teams up with his neighbour (Kelly Chen) to help the ghost of a schoolgirl (Cherry Ngan). The ''Young and Dangerous'' film series () is a collection of Hong Kong films about a group of triad young members, detailing their adventures, dangers and growth in a Hong Kong triad society.
