Simon Francis (cricketer)
Simon Richard George Francis (born 15 August 1978) is an English former cricketer, currently Director of Cricket at Warwick School. He bowled right-arm medium-fast and batted right-handed. He made his first-class debut for Hampshire in 1997, making a handful of appearances for the county until he moved to Somerset for the 2002 season. However, appearances for the first XI became less frequent and Francis was released at the end of the 2006 season. He was signed by Nottinghamshire early in the 2007 season, which proved to be his final year in professional cricket. Francis also toured with England A in India in 2003-04 and appeared in one Youth One-Day International, coming in January 1997 on the England Under-19s' tour of Pakistan. He also represented England at hockey at Under-18 level. Bromley
Bromley is a large town in Greater London, England, within the London Borough of Bromley. It is south-east of Charing Cross, and had an estimated population of 87,889 as of 2011. The England Lions (formerly England A) cricket team is England and Wales' "second-tier" team, below the full England cricket team. It is largely intended as a way for promising young cricketers to gain experience of playing international cricket. John Francis (English Cricketer)
John Francis (born 13 November 1980) is an English cricketer who last played for St Cross Symondians. He is a left-handed batsman and an occasional slow left-arm bowler. Francis was both at Bromley in Kent and educated at King Edward VI School, Southampton followed by Durham and Loughborough universities. He originally represented Hampshire in the Second XI Championship in 1998 and then the Hampshire Cricket Board in the 38-County Cup in 1999. His first-class debut was for Hampshire in 2001 and he played for them until 2003 but moved on after not accepting a new two-year contract with the team. He played first-class cricket for British Universities in 2002 and 2003 and for Loughborough UCCE in 2003. In 2004 he joined Somerset. Warwick School
Warwick School is a selective, independent day and boarding school in Warwick, England in the public school tradition.
