Saracen (comics)
Saracen is the name of two fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The first Saracen named Muzzafar Lambert is an enemy of the Punisher. The second Saracen is a member of a Vampire sect called the Ancients. The vampire version of Saracen appears in the 2022 Disney+ series '' She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'', portrayed by Terrence Clowe. Publication history The character made its first appearance in ''The Punisher'' #22 (August 1989), created by Mike Baron and Erik Larsen, and reappeared in ''The Punisher War Journal'' #25-27, as well as ''The Punisher'' #47-48 and ''The Punisher War Journal'' #33. The character was then killed off in the one-shot comic book ''The Punisher: Empty Quarter'', though a version of him from an alternate universe was later featured in ''Exiles'' #99. American Comic Book
An American comic book is a thin periodical originating in the United States, on average 32 pages, containing comics. While the form originated in 1933, American comic books first gained popularity after the 1938 publication of ''Action Comics'', which included the debut of the superhero Superman. This was followed by a superhero boom that lasted until the end of World War II. After the war, while superheroes were marginalized, the comic book industry rapidly expanded and genres such as horror, crime, science fiction and romance became popular. The 1950s saw a gradual decline, due to a shift away from print media in the wake of television and the impact of the Comics Code Authority. Mark Bagley
Mark Bagley (; born August 7, 1957) is an American comics artist. He has worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', '' Thunderbolts'', ''New Warriors'', ''Venom'' and ''Ultimate Spider-Man'' and for DC Comics on ''Justice League of America'', ''Batman'' and ''Trinity''. Early life Mark Bagley was born to a military family in Frankfurt, West Germany. Career After his work in the military and at Ringling College of Art and Design, Bagley continued trying to break into the comic industry. While working a construction job, he suffered a severe injury to his leg while using a handsaw that required 132 stitches. He eventually ended up working for Lockheed Martin making technical drawings. David Linus "Microchip" Lieberman (often known as Micro) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was an ally of Punisher, The Punisher for many years and assisted the Punisher by building weapons, supplying technology, hacking into computers, and providing friendship. Microchip gradually evolved from the Punisher's friend to a bitter enemy after their final falling out. Kansas
