San Sebastián Metro
Euskotren operates frequent commuter rail services in the city of San Sebastián and the surrounding Donostialdea area, in the Basque Country, Spain. The infrastructure is gradually being upgraded to rapid transit standards, in order to create the San Sebastián Metro ( es, Metro de San Sebastián, eu, Donostiako metroa). The line is commonly known as Topo (), due to the large number of tunnels present. As of 2021, the San Sebastián suburban rail services are branded as part of the Euskotren Trena network, with no separate identity. History The meter-gauge line opened on December 5, 1912 between San Sebastián with Irun. It was extended to Hendaye the following year. The network was subsequently owned by FEVE, the Spanish narrow-gauge railway company, until it was transferred to the Basque Government in the 1970s. Intxaurrondo is a railway station in San Sebastián, Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. Pasaia Station (Euskotren)
Pasaia is a railway station in Pasaia, Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. It lies on the San Sebastián-Hendaye railway, popularly known as the Topo line. The Cercanías San Sebastián station is located close to the Euskotren station, but the two are not connected. History The station opened in 1912 as part of the San Sebastián-Hendaye railway. The station was built in a viaduct as otherwise six level crossings would have been required in the town. As part of the new alignment of the line between Herrera and , the station will be rebuilt underground, south of its current location. Anoeta Station (Euskotren)
Anoeta is a railway station in San Sebastián, Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. It lies on the San Sebastián-Hendaye railway, popularly known as the San Sebastián Metro, Topo line. It primarily serves the nearby Anoeta Stadium. Euskotren, formally known as Basque Railways ( eu, Eusko Trenbideak, es, Ferrocarriles Vascos), is a public railway company controlled by the Basque Government and officially established in 1982 to operate several narrow gauge railways inside the autonomous community of the Basque Country, under the terms of the Statute of Autonomy of the Basque Country. Matiko (Metro Bilbao)
Matiko is the northern terminus of line 3 of the Bilbao metro. The station is also served by Euskotren Trena commuter and regional rail services. The gare d'Hendaye is a railway station in Hendaye, France, on the Bordeaux-Irun and Madrid-Hendaye lines. Irun Colon is a railway station in Irun, Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. Amara Station
Amara is a railway station in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. It is the eastern terminus of the Bilbao-San Sebastián line and is also served by the suburban Topo service. History The station opened in 1895 as the eastern terminus of the San Sebastián-Elgoibar railway (which at the time only reached ).
