Intxaurrondo Station (Euskotren)
Intxaurrondo is a railway station in San Sebastián, Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. It lies on the San Sebastián-Hendaye railway, popularly known as the San Sebastián Metro, Topo line. The Cercanías San Sebastián station serves the same area, but is unrelated to the Euskotren station. History The current station is part of the new alignment between Loiola station (Euskotren), Loiola and Herrera station (Euskotren), Herrera that opened in October 2012. The original single-track tunnel was replaced by a new double-tracked one, and the underground Intxaurrondo station was built. The station is at a depth of , and has the longest escalators in Spain. San Sebastián Metro
Euskotren operates frequent commuter rail services in the city of San Sebastián and the surrounding Donostialdea area, in the Basque Country, Spain. The infrastructure is gradually being upgraded to rapid transit standards, in order to create the San Sebastián Metro ( es, Metro de San Sebastián, eu, Donostiako metroa). Euskal Trenbide Sarea (, es, Red Ferroviaria Vasca), commonly known by its acronym ETS, is a railway infrastructure manager operating in the Basque Country, Spain. Loiola is a railway station in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren.
