Sahar Zaman (footballer)
Sahar Zaman (born 6 December 1996) is a Pakistani footballer who plays as a midfielder. She is a member of the Pakistan women's national football team. Zaman is from the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Club career At club level, Zaman has been for the Rawalpindi-based Young Rising Stars. She counts American goalkeeper Hope Solo as one of her inspirations. She got to see Solo in action when Young Rising Stars was invited to the United States on a Sports Envoy Programme in 2009, having won the 2008 National Women Football Championship. She was a part of the Young Rising Stars which won four consecutive National Championship titles from 2010 to 2013. In 2020, she was part of the WAPDA team which finished third in the 12th edition of the National Women Football Championship. Zaman was awarded the Golden Boot for her 27 goals. National Women Football Championship
The National Women Football Championship is the top cup competition for women's football clubs in Pakistan – designed as an equivalent to the National Challenge Cup for men. It was started in 2005 by the Pakistan Football Federation. Young Rising Stars has been the most successful team in the history of he competition, winning it five times (including four consecutive wins from 2010 to 2013). Bhutan Women's National Football Team
The Bhutan women's national football team represents Bhutan in international women's football. The team is controlled by the governing body for football in Bhutan, the Bhutan Football Federation, which is currently a member of the Asian Football Federation and the regional body the South Asian Football Federation. 2014 SAFF Women's Championship
The 2014 SAFF Women's Championship was an association football tournament for women's national teams organised by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). It was the third edition of the tournament since the first one in 2010. The competition was contested by the eight SAFF members. India were the reigning champions. The tournament was hosted in Islamabad, Pakistan from 11 to 21 November 2014. In the final, India beat Nepal for the third time and to remain the only nation to lift the title. Indian player Ngangom Bala Devi won the top-scorer award, scoring 16 goals in five matches. Bahrain Women's National Football Team
The Bahrain women's national football team was first formed in 2003. The team represents Bahrain in international women's football and thus falls under the governance of the Bahrain Football Association; more specifically run by the women's committee at the Association. Although participating in several friendly tournaments, the team played its first official international match against the Maldives on April 22, 2007 and entered the FIFA Women's World Rankings in June 2007 at 111th out of 142.
