The 2010 National Women's Football Championship was the 6th season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The event took place from 28 September to 10 October 2010 at Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad. Jinnah Sports Stadium
Jinnah Sports Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 48,000 people and is the largest stadium in Pakistan. Stadium This stadium was built in the 1970s. The stadium was renovated and used for the SAF Games in 2004. Malika-e-Noor
Malika-e-Noor (born 11 July 1994) is a Pakistani footballer who is the vice-captain of the Pakistan women's national football team. She captains and plays as a defender for Pakistan Army, and as a midfielder for the national team. As of 2023, she has played in over 200 professional matches, with 98 goals to her name. Club career Young Rising Stars Malika scored the opening goal for Young Rising Stars in the final of the 2010 National Women Football Championship, as her side went on to win 2-0 against WAPDA. She won the Top Scorer award at the tournament. In September 2011, Noor scored 14 goals and got 11 assists in Young Rising Stars' 25-0 win over Margala in the 7th National Women Football Championship. She also scored the equalizer in the final against Diya as YRS successfully defended their title. This helped her win the Top Scorer award at the tournament for the second consecutive time. Hajra Khan (footballer)
Hajra Khan ( ur, ) (born 29 December 1993) is a Pakistani footballer who is the captain of the Pakistan women's national football team. She plays as a striker or midfielder. She became part of Pakistan national team in 2009 which she led as a captain from 2014. Early and personal life Hajra Khan was born on December 29, 1993, in Karachi, Pakistan. From an early age, Khan's dream was to become a professional athlete but not a footballer. She was discovered by Diya W.F.C. coach Sadia Sheikh, when she was looking for provincial team. Khan debuted aged 14 and scored nine goals in three games for Diya W.F.C., which won her the Top Scorer of the tournament award. 2009 National Women Football Championship
The 2009 National Women's Football Championship was the 5th season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The event took place from 29 July to 11 August 2009 in Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad. Thirteen teams competed in the tournament, with one of them, Malavan Bandar Anzali Football Club, Malavan Bandar Anzali, being a guest team from Iran. Malavan BA won the title after beating Sports Science Department (of University of the Punjab) 11–0 in the final. Defending champions Young Rising Stars F.F.C., Young Rising Stars came third. The 2011 National Women Football Championship was the 7th season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The tournament ran from 18 to 30 September 2011. Young Rising Stars were able to defend their title and win their third national championship by beating Diya 4–3 on penalties in the final, after the match had ended 1-1. National Women Football Championship
The National Women Football Championship is the top cup competition for women's football clubs in Pakistan – designed as an equivalent to the National Challenge Cup for men. It was started in 2005 by the Pakistan Football Federation. Young Rising Stars has been the most successful team in the history of he competition, winning it five times (including four consecutive wins from 2010 to 2013).
