National Women Football Championship
The National Women Football Championship is the top cup competition for women's football clubs in Pakistan – designed as an equivalent to the National Challenge Cup for men. It was started in 2005 by the Pakistan Football Federation. Young Rising Stars has been the most successful team in the history of he competition, winning it five times (including four consecutive wins from 2010 to 2013). WAPDA has had the most final appearances (7), winning once and losing six times. The most recent champion is Pakistan Army, which defended its 2018 title in 2019-20. Pakistan Football Federation
Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is the governing body of association football in Pakistan. Founded in 1947, its headquarters are at the FIFA Football House in Lahore, Punjab (Pakistan), Punjab near Punjab Stadium. Margalla Hills
The Margalla Hills () are a hill range within the Margalla Hills National Park on the northern edge of Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan, just south of Haripur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They are part of the Himalayas, Himalayan foothills. The Margalla range has an area of 12,605 hectares. It is a range with many valleys as well as high mountains. Infrastructure Khayaban-e-Iqbal, arises on the north east side from the 4th Avenue (Nur Pur Shahan), runs between E and F sectors, and ends at Service Road West of F-11 and E-11 (Golra Sharif, Golra) sectors in the south-east. Airblue Flight 202
Airblue Flight 202 was a scheduled Pakistani domestic passenger flight from Karachi to the nation's capital of Islamabad. On 28 July 2010, the Airbus A321-231 jet airliner serving the flight crashed into Margalla Hills, north of Islamabad's Benazir Bhutto International Airport, killing all 146 passengers and six crew on board. It is the deadliest air accident to occur in Pakistan to date and the first fatal crash involving an Airbus A321. Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority stated that the crash was caused by the captain's incorrect flight control input. The captain's arrogant demeanour during the entire flight caused the first officer to lose his self esteem, making him less likely to speak up on the captain's mistakes and effectively ceased any meaningful crew resource management due to the toxic work environment. 2019–20 National Women Football Championship
The 2019-2020 National Women Football Championship was the 12th season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The tournament took place in two phases: qualifying round in November 2019 and final round from 1 to 12 January 2020 in Karachi. Pakistan Army (women's football team), Pakistan Army were able to defend their title by beating Karachi United 7-1 in the final. Pakistan National Football Challenge Cup
The PFF National Challenge Cup is an annual semi-professional knockout football competition in men's domestic Pakistani football within the Pakistan football league system. It is organized by and named after the Pakistan Football Federation. Khan Research Laboratories have won the most titles (six). WAPDA are the current champions, winning the 2020 edition courtesy of a 1-0 win against SSGC F.C. in the final. 2021 National Women Football Championship
The 2021 National Women Football Championship was the 13th edition of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's association football in Pakistan. It was held in Karachi from 8 March to 3 April 2021. All matches in the group stage were held at the KMC Football Stadium, KMC and KPT Stadium, KPT stadiums with the latter scheduled to hold the finals. The Aga Khan Gymkhana held matches of the development stage. Pakistan Army W.F.C., Pakistan Army were the defending champions, having won the 2019–20 National Women Football Championship.
