Sadiq Fakir
Sadiq Fakir (Urdu: صادق فقیر) ( Sindhi :صادق فقير ) born on 20 March 1967, in Diplo, Pakistan was a singer and performer of Sindhi music from Sindh, Pakistan. Early life He belonged to the Manganhar tribe, and was born to Faqir Faiz Muhammad Manganhar. His early education was from Mithi. He received musical training from his maternal uncle Hussain Fakir. He sang at the school functions and later at weddings in Thar and other parts of Sindh. Education Sadiq Faqir received his primary education in his hometown. Later his family settled in Mithi where he got further education. He did his master's degrees in Physical education and Sindhi literature. Career He started his career as a singer from Radio Pakistan, a section of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. And then his songs telecasted from Pakistan Television Corporation. Mai Bhagi
Mai Bhagi ( ur, مائی بھاگی) (c. 1906 – 7 July 1986) was a Pakistani folk musician, born Bhag Bhari in Mithi in Thar, Sindh. Mai Bhagi grew up in a village in the Thar Desert. Her father was Wanhyun Fakir and mother was Khadija Maganhar. Both her parents were known singers of their region at that time. Mai Bhagi's birth name was Bhag Bhari (which means 'a lucky person'). She was married to folk singer Hothi Fakir at the age of 16 in Islamkot Therparker. She shifted to Mithi Therparker in 1950 Permanently. Record producer Sheikh Ghulam Hussain, husband of Pakistani folk singer Abida Parveen, offered her the opportunity to record at the Radio Pakistan studios, and her records were played on the radio. Ustad Bukhari (original name "Punhal Shah" which was later changed to be Syed Ahmed Shah Bukhari) ( sd, اُستاد بُخارِي) Urdu (استاد بخاری) born on 16 January 1930 and died on 9 October 1992 in Karachi was a prominent progressive Sindhi-language poet of Sindh, Pakistan.
