Sabine Schöne
Sabine Schoene, (born January 27, 1974, in Munich) is a former professional squash player who represented Germany. She reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 6 in November 1997. Career As a junior, Sabine Schoene won ten national junior titles in various age groups. 1988, at the age of only 14 she won her first national championship title in the women's division - a title she held for 17 years until she retired in 2004. In 1991 she lost the final of the World Junior Championships against Cassie Campion. Vaterstetten is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg. It lies east of Munich and is the district's biggest community. Squash is a racket-and- ball sport played by two or four players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow, rubber ball. The players alternate in striking the ball with their rackets onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court. The objective of the game is to hit the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. World Squash Championships
The World Squash Championships are squash events for men and women organised by the Professional Squash Association. The men's event was first held in 1976 in London, England and the women's was inaugurated in 1976 in Brisbane, Australia. Overview The British Open had for many years been generally considered to be the sport's effective world championship, and this continued to be the case until the World Open (now called World Championship) was established. The women's World Championship was held once every two years until the early 1990s, when it became an annual event. The men's event has been held every year since 1976, except for a two-year gap in 2000 and 2001 when it was not held due primarily to difficulties in securing sponsorship. Cassie Jackman
Cassandra "Cassie" Jackman (born 22 December 1972 and competing in some years as Cassie Campion) is a former English squash player who won the World Open in 1999. She was England's leading player throughout much of the 1990s and early 21st century. She retired due to a recurring back injury in December 2004. Jackman was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2004 Birthday Honours for services to squash. Career Born in North Walsham, Norfolk, she won five British under-23 titles, and five senior British national titles. Lahti
Lahti (; sv, Lahtis) is a city and municipality in Finland. It is the capital of the region of Päijänne Tavastia (Päijät-Häme) and its growing region is one of the main economic hubs of Finland.
