Thierry Lincou
Thierry Lincou (born 2 April 1976, in La Réunion) is a retired professional squash player from France. He reached the World No. 1 ranking in January 2004. That year, Lincou won the World Open title, the Hong Kong Open and the Super Series Finals. He has been known as one of the greatest lateral movers in the game, as well as being one of the fittest players in the history of squash. His nickname, "titi", was founded by a former competitor, Amr Shabana. He called Thierry "titi-tight," because of his precision and tight shots. 2017 World Games
The 2017 World Games ( pl, Igrzyska Światowe 2017), commonly known as Wrocław 2017 (german: Breslau 2017; sli, Brassel 2017), was the tenth World Games, a major international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that were not contested in the Olympic Games, held from 20 to 30 July 2017 in Wrocław, Poland. The World Games were organized by the Wrocław Organizing Committee. Wrocław was selected as the host city in January 2012 in Lausanne, over Budapest, Hungary. It was the first time The World Games was organised in Poland. Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Forero (born December 20, 1985 in Bogotá), known as Miguel Rodríguez, is a professional male squash player who represents Colombia. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 4 in June 2015. Early life Rodríguez was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He was introduced to squash at the age of 2 by his father Ángel, a former professional squash player himself. He played primarily at the Club El Nogal in Bógota. Miguel attended the school Calasanz, where he also played football and table tennis. 2013 World Games
The 2013 World Games ( es, Juegos Mundiales 2013), the ninth World Games, were an international multi-sport event held in the city of Cali, Colombia, from July 25 to August 4. Host city allocation history The 2013 World Games were initially allocated to the German cities of Duisburg and Düsseldorf. However, at the end of 2008, Duisburg withdrew and Düsseldorf dropped out because both cities could not secure enough funding, partly as a result of the financial crisis of 2007–08 and the subsequent Great Recession. Two alternate cities came forward to the IWGA to bid for these Games: Pretoria, South Africa and Cali, Colombia. The 2009 World Games () the eighth edition of the World Games, were an international multi-sport event held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (under the name Chinese Taipei) from 16 July 2009 to 26 July 2009. The games featured sports that are not contested in the Olympic Games.
