S-Bahn Mittelelbe
The S-Bahn Mittelelbe ("Central Elbe S-Bahn", called the ''S-Bahn Magdeburg'' until 2014) is part of the public transport network of the metropolitan area of Magdeburg, the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt. The S-Bahn is operated by the ''Elbe Saale Bahn'', a subsidiary of DB Regio Südost, on behalf of the Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt ("public transport service of Saxony-Anhalt", a state government agency that plans, manages and funds public transport services in the state). The S-Bahn currently consists of one line between Schönebeck-Salzelmen, Magdeburg, Stendal and Wittenberge, using the Schönebeck–Güsten, Magdeburg–Leipzig and Magdeburg–Wittenberge lines. Oschersleben (Bode) station (german: Bahnhof Oschersleben (Bode)) is a railway station in the town of Oschersleben (Bode), Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The station lies on the Magdeburg–Thale railway. Oschersleben station is the most important station on the line to Halberstadt. It was built together with the construction of the line to Brunswick. The Brunswick–Magdeburg railway is an German main line railway. It is with the Berlin–Lehrte railway and the Hanover–Berlin high-speed line one of the most important east-west lines between Hanover and Berlin. Rostock S-Bahn
The Rostock S-Bahn (german: S-Bahn Rostock) is a S-Bahn (suburban railway) network in Rostock in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It consists of three lines with a total length of about 90 km. Line S1 runs from Rostock Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Warnemünde within the Rostock urban area. S-Bahn operations started in 1970s. Later, the lines to the north-east to the port (''Seehafen'') of Rostock and to the south to the town of Güstrow via Schwaan were included in the S-Bahn network. S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland represents an enlargement of the previous Leipzig-Halle S-Bahn. It is an electric rail public transit system operating in the metropolitan area of Leipzig-Halle, Germany. This S-Bahn (German abbreviation for ''Stadtschnellbahn'' - literally, "urban rapid aiload") network developed from two separate S-Bahn networks of Halle (Saale) and Leipzig, which were established separately in 1969 and then linked in 2004. Salzwedel Station
Salzwedel station is the station of the district town of Salzwedel in Altmark in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. Until 2004, it was a railway junction, but as a result of the closure of nearly all branch lines it has lost most of its importance. Only one railway line still runs through Salzwedel. History Salzwedel station was built in 1870 during the construction of the Stendal–Uelzen railway (part of the America Line from Berlin to Bremen and Bremerhaven) by the Magdeburg-Halberstadt Railway Company.
