Royal Bercuit Golf Club is located in Grez-Doiceau, Wallonia, 30 km southeast of Brussels. History In 1965, businessman and landowner Baron Frédéric Rolin began planning the construction of the golf course. Robert Trent Jones agreed to design the course and based on an American concept, the project included an 18 hole golf course and real estate development. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Golf, unlike most ball games, cannot and does not use a standardized playing area, and coping with the varied terrains encountered on different courses is a key part of the game. Emma Nilsson (golfer)
Emma Nilsson (born 8 March 1994) is a Swedish professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour. She was runner-up at the 2020 South African Women's Open. Family and early life Nilsson was born in Kristianstad 1994. Her sister Sarah Nilsson, born in 1997, is also a professional golfer and was a Ladies European Tour rookie in 2017. Amateur career As an amateur Nilsson won the Swedish Junior Strokeplay Championship in 2008, and finished 3rd at the Swedish Junior Matchplay Championship in 2011. She was runner-up at the Spanish International Ladies Amateur Championship in 2010, and 3rd in 2012. She also finished 3rd at the 2011 British Girls Open and 4th at the 2012 German Girls Open. 2018 LET Access Series
The 2018 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from April through November 2018 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. The Jabra Ladies Open, held at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France and since 2014 the European qualifying competition for the Evian Championship, became the tour's first dual-ranking event with the LET. LET Access Series
The LET Access Series (LETAS) is a professional golf tour for women and the official development tour to the Ladies European Tour. Launched in 2010, the LET Access Series provides players with an opportunity to compete and progress on to the LET. Eligible for membership are all female professional golfers and amateurs over 18 with a handicap of 2 or better. Women's World Golf Rankings As one of the eight major women's tours (along with LPGA, JLPGA, KLPGA, LET, ALPG, Symetra Tour and China LPGA Tour) performances on LETAS carry Women's World Golf Rankings points. Helen Wadsworth (born 7 April 1964) is a former Welsh professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour. Career Prior to turning professional, Wadsworth was runner-up in the 1990 Welsh Ladies' Amateur Championship, runner-up to Julie Wade in the 1990 British Ladies Amateur, won the 1990 World Fourball Championship (with Julie Wade) in Brazil, and was a member of the 1990 Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team.
