1991 Ladies European Tour
The 1991 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place in 1991. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Tournaments The table below shows the 1991 schedule. Corinne Dibnah (born 29 July 1962) is an Australian professional golfer. Dibnah played on the ALPG Tour and the Ladies European Tour (LET). BMW European Masters
The Belgian Ladies Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour held in Belgium. The tournament was played annually 1985–1995. It was known as the Godiva Ladies European Masters 1988–1989 and the BMW European Masters 1990–1994. The Bloor Homes Eastleigh Classic was a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour. It was first played in 1984 and held annually until 1991. The tournament was played on the par–65 (34–31) municipal course Fleming Park GC, Eastleigh, Hampshire, England, which closed permanently in 2008. Jane Connachan recorded a 58 in the first round and Dale Reid recorded a 58 in the final round of the 1991 tournament, Ladies European Tour records as lowest rounds, as is Dale Reid's 1991 and Trish Johnson's 1990 72–hole raw score of 249. Marie-Laure De Lorenzi
Marie-Laure de Lorenzi (born 21 January 1961, in Biarritz) is a French professional golfer. She is also known by her married name Marie-Laure Taya, and competed using that name until midway through 1989 when she reverted to her maiden name. De Lorenzi played for her country in the European Lady Junior's Team Championship, for players up to the age of 21, from she was 14 years old in 1975 until 1982 and was on the winning team in 1979. She also won individually in 1981. De Lorenzi joined the Ladies European Tour in 1987 and is now a life member of the tour, having accumulated 19 tournament victories on it. She played for Europe in the first Solheim Cup, which took place in 1990, and was also a member of the European team in 1996 and 1998. Helen Alfredsson
Helen Christine Alfredsson (born 9 April 1965) is a Swedish professional golfer who played primarily on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and is also a life member of the Ladies European Tour. She won the LPGA major Nabisco Dinah Shore and twice finished second in the U.S. Women's Open. She also won the Women's British Open once and the Evian Masters three times before those events were designated as majors in women's golf by the LPGA Tour. In 2019, she won a "senior slam" by winning both of the senior women's major championships. Laurette Maritz
Laurette Maritz (born 13 January 1964) is a South African professional golfer. She won three titles on the Ladies European Tour between 1988 and 1990, and was LET Rookie of the Year in 1988. Early life and amateur career Maritz grew up in Johannesburg and started playing golf when she was 11. Consumed by the sport, she quit high school after the 11th grade. Playing on the South African National Team, she won tournaments in Europe, and she was thinking about turning professional. After meeting LPGA Tour player Sally Little in 1983 she accepted a golf scholarship to United States International University in San Diego, where she earned All-American honors four times and a BA in Physical Education.
