Rugby union in Bolivia is a minor, but growing sport. Governing body The governing body is the Federación Boliviana de Rugby, which is affiliated to CONSUR, but not to the International Rugby Board. History Rugby in South America is dominated by Argentina, and to a lesser extent Uruguay (who have qualified for the Rugby World Cup) and Chile and is most popular in the southern part of the continent. The Rugby World Cup is a men's rugby union tournament contested every four years between the top international teams. The tournament is administered by World Rugby, the sport's international governing body.
