Ronald Ssemanda
Ronald Ssemanda (born 15 December 1988) is a Ugandan cricketer who made his competitive debut for the Ugandan national side at the 2007 WCL Division Three tournament. His most recent matches for Uganda came at the 2013 WCL Africa T20 Division One tournament. A right-handed all-rounder, Ssemanda played for the Ugandan under-19 sides in two Under-19 World Cups, where matches had under-19 One Day International (ODI) status. At the 2004 event in Bangladesh, aged 15, he played in four matches, with a best of 2/29 against Nepal, while at the 2006 event in Sri Lanka, he played in five matches, with a best of 4/43 against Bangladesh. Ssemanda had earlier been Player of the Final at the 2005 Africa/EAP Under-19 Championship, in which Uganda defeated Namibia to qualify for the World Cup. 2005 ICC Africa/East Asia-Pacific Under-19 Championship
The 2005 ICC Africa/East Asia-Pacific Under-19 Championship was a cricket tournament held in South Africa from 21–26 August 2005, during the 2005 international season. All matches were held at the Willowmoore Park complex in Benoni, Gauteng. Namibia won the tournament by defeating Uganda in the final, with both teams qualifying for the 2006 Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka. Tanzanian batsman Benson Mwita led the competition in runs scored, while Kenya's Rohit Vekaria took the most wickets. Ugandan all-rounder Ronald Ssemanda was Player of the Final. The tournament was jointly organised by the African Cricket Association (ACA) and ICC East Asia-Pacific (EAP), with eight teams (six African and two EAP) participating, divided into two pools for the group stages. Rwenzori Warriors
The Ruwenzori, also spelled Rwenzori and Rwenjura, are a range of mountains in eastern equatorial Africa, located on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The highest peak of the Ruwenzori reaches , and the range's upper regions are permanently snow-capped and glaciated. Rivers fed by mountain streams form one of the sources of the Nile. Because of this, European explorers linked the Ruwenzori with the legendary Mountains of the Moon, claimed by the Greek scholar Ptolemy as the source of the Nile. East Africa Premier League
The East Africa Premier League (EAPL) was a 20-over competition covering Kenya and Uganda. The EAPL was founded in 2011, together with the East Africa Cup, in the wake of Kenya's disastrous performance in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. It comprised four Kenyan provincial franchises as well as two teams from Uganda that play each over in a league, culminating in a final between the team that finished top of the league and the winner of a series of playoff matches. The East Africa Cup (EAC) is one of two domestic cricket competitions launched by Cricket Kenya in the aftermath of the Kenya national cricket team's disastrous showing at the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the county cricket, inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 over (cricket), overs. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The Argentina national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Argentina in international cricket. The team is organised by the Argentina Cricket Association (ACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1974.
