Romance Tour (Luis Miguel)
The Romance Tour was launched by Luis Miguel to some United States countries, Latin American and Spain to promote his album ''Romance (Luis Miguel album), Romance''. During this tour he made the first season of his career in Las Vegas, performing four nights at Caesars Palace, Circus Maximus Showroom of Caesars Palace. He played a concert in Seville during the Seville Expo '92, Universal Exposition 1992, and in the National Auditorium in Mexico City, where he broke the World Record by selling the 10,000 tickets for his only show in 3 hours. Near the end of the tour, he had to postpone two concerts in Argentina to travel to Spain, due to the death of his father Luisito Rey. Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri (born 19 April 1970) is a Puerto Rican-born Mexican singer, often referred to as ''El Sol de México'' (The Sun of Mexico), which is the nickname his mother gave him as a child—"mi sol". Luis Miguel has sung in multiple genres and styles, including Latin pop, pop songs, Latin ballad, ballads, boleros, Tango (flamenco), tangos, jazz, big band, and mariachi. Cuando Calienta El Sol (song)
"Cuando calienta el sol" (meaning When the sun heats (or warms) up) is a popular Spanish language song originally composed as "Cuando calienta el sol en Masachapa", Masachapa being a coastal town in Nicaragua. The music was written by Rafael Gaston Perez, a Nicaraguan songwriter and bandleader. SADAIC (the Argentine Society of Music Authors and Composers) also credits the Argentine composer Carlos Albert Martinoli. The song was published in 1961 and made famous by the Cuban Mexican vocal group Los Hermanos Rigual with the lyrics by Carlos Rigual and Mario Rigual from the band.
