Roberto De Vicenzo Classic
The Roberto De Vicenzo Punta del Este Open Copa NEC was a men's professional golf tournament. First held in 2005 as the Roberto De Vicenzo Classic, it is named after one of Argentina's most successful golfers, Roberto De Vicenzo. The tournament has been held at the San Eliseo Golf Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina until 2012, and moved to the Club de Golf del Uruguay in Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2015, it moved to Club del Lago Golf in Maldonado, Uruguay. All three cities are on the Río de la Plata. From 2007 to 2011, the tournament was part of the TPG Tour, the official professional golf tour in Argentina. In 2006 and from 2008 to 2010, it was included on the Tour de las Américas schedule. Four-ball Golf
Four-ball is a pairs playing format in the game of golf. It is also known as better ball and best ball, although the latter more properly describes a variation involving teams of 3 or 4 players. It is also sometimes abbreviated as 4BBB. In a stroke play competition, competitors are paired and play as a team. Each golfer plays their own ball; the team's score on each hole is the lower of the two players' scores. Only one of a pair is required to complete each hole. The winners are the team with the lowest aggregate score over a set number of holes. Since 2017 this format, along with foursomes, has been used by the Zurich Classic on the PGA Tour. Sebastián Saavedra (born 2 June 1990) is a Colombian racing driver from Bogotá. In 2014, he drove for KVSH Racing in the Verizon IndyCar Series before being replaced by former GP2 Series driver Stefano Coletti. Racing career Early career After a childhood in karting, Saavedra drove in Formula BMW USA for Gelles Racing, finishing 11th in points. José de Jesús Rodríguez Martínez (born 22 January 1981) is a Mexican professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. The 2013 PGA Tour Latinoamérica, titled as the 2013 NEC Series-PGA Tour Latinoamérica for sponsorship reasons, was the second season of PGA Tour Latinoamérica, the main professional golf tour in Latin America, operated and run by the PGA Tour. The 2014 PGA Tour Latinoamérica was the third season of PGA Tour Latinoamérica, having converted from the Tour de las Américas which ceased to operate in 2012. Lanto Griffin (born June 15, 1988) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Early life Griffin was born in Mount Shasta, California and moved with his family at a young age to Blacksburg, Virginia.
